IndustrialWebSearch.com has simplified the sourcing of industrial products and services by eliminating category search, giving industrial sellers complete control to attract targeted buyers and enabling buyers to find and connect with potential suppliers in minutes.

Industrial Web Search - Industrial Search Engine

Instead of paying for categories that are expensive, difficult to fit into, and take a long time to be switched from

Industrial Web Search, a new patent-pending industrial search engine developed by Industrial Web Solutions, is the first industrial sourcing tool to be based on content tagging. Representing a break from the limitations of category search approaches typical to traditional industrial directories and search engines, the system delivers accurate results by matching the words a buyer types with keywords and phrases, known as tags, used by seller members to identify their products and services.

“Conducting an industrial search,” notes Industrial Web Search founder and developer Joe DeMicco, “can quickly turn into an expedition, requiring buyers to delve through literally hundreds of product categories and listings that represent the whole gamut of information and product/service offerings, all relevant to the terms searched, but not specifically relevant to what the buyer is looking for. After analyzing search systems, our team of developers came up with a solution that eliminates those issues.”

The system was designed to simplify the search process for buyers, giving them the most direct approach possible to quality, potential resources and partners by exactly matching terms searched with sellers’ tags. To manage the quality of listing results, all industrial sellers must become members. Membership levels currently start at $499 a year and provide the seller with 100% control to add, edit and swap out tags to keep up with the language used by their targeted buyer groups to search.

“Instead of paying for categories that are expensive, difficult to fit into, and take a long time to be switched from,” notes DeMicco, “industrial sellers get 100% control right from the get-go to manage their tags as they see fit. The pricing point of our tags makes Industrial Web Search affordable to the small business owner too. And because the tool was designed to satisfy the needs of the industrial buyer, including the convenience of being able to contact the seller by phone, email and RFQ right from the seller’s company profile page, sellers make connections with buyers they can help. Everyone is satisfied - making it a great addition to a seller’s overall marketing toolkit and a useful tool for buyers looking to make quick, quality connections.”

Industrial Web Search is a new service. The member seller base is actively being expanded exclusively with seller members who have met the criteria and have paid for inclusion. “To maintain the integrity of our service,” says DeMicco, “we never populate the engine with listings scraped from the internet or purchased from contact database providers. Our way takes more time but the results are better for the buyer and our members.” The service is always free to buyers, who are encouraged to take advantage of the free management and communications tools available to registered users. A multi-platform tool, buyers and sellers can access Industrial Web Search from their desktop or laptop at industrialwebsearch.com or a streamlined version of the site is accessible via their iPhone, Smartphone or other handheld mobile device at industrialwebsearch.mobi.
