In today’s business to business marketplace, clients are demanding more for less, and as a result, it is putting pressure on service teams and sales teams alike. In order to bridge the gap between sales and service delivery, the position of account manager is becoming a glaring necessity in today’s business world.
MorePro Marketing has realized this necessity and promoted one of their own into the new position. The new position will be given to Aaron Garcia, who was previously the project manager for the search engine optimization department at MorePro Marketing. Although many of the same duties from the project manager position will carry over, the new position brings with it new opportunities and responsibilities.
Instead of only being responsible for keeping the search engine optimization programs on track, the new account manager will be in constant communication with the client, getting a deep understanding of the marketplace they function in and spotting opportunities to take advantage of. “I see it as a great opportunity to improve the relationships we have with our clients” said Garcia. “Instead of just being an assembly line that spits out project after project, we really have an opportunity now to even further customize our marketing strategies to fit the needs of the client.”
