SearchMarketMe and its network of 100+ independent Internet Marketing Agency Owners celebrated news this week that internet marketing expenditures have reached the "tipping point" versus print media, as total internet marketing services expenditures are expected to eclipse print media spending by several billion dollars in the USA, in 2012. Internet marketing expenditures will now trail only television spending.

SearchMarketMe and its network of 100+ independent Internet Marketing Agency Owners embraced last week's industry reports that show US-based internet marketing expenditures surpassing print media expenditures in 2012.

"We've seen internet marketing expenditures increase sharply over the last few years, even right through the recession," said SearchMarketMe President & CEO, S. Boyd Karren. "But it really is remarkable that it has already grown to surpass the amount of money spent in newspapers and magazines, and now only trails the total spend on television."

For the 100+ independent Internet Marketing Agency Owners that affiliate with SearchMarketMe, the news was very much in line with their own experiences.
