We have always committed to providing the highest level of consultation and support to our Microsoft customers. This Gold Collaboration and Content competency once again demonstrates that we truly are the ‘experts in the search space.’

Search Technologies, the largest IT services company dedicated to enterprise search implementation and consulting, today announced it achieved a Microsoft Gold Collaboration and Content competency, demonstrating a “best-in-class” ability and commitment to meet Microsoft Corp. customers’ evolving needs in today’s dynamic business environment and distinguishing itself within the top one percent of Microsoft’s partner ecosystem. This is the fourth consecutive year in which Search Technologies has attained Microsoft Gold status.

To earn a Microsoft gold competency, partners must successfully complete exams (resulting in Microsoft Certified Professionals) to prove their level of technology expertise. They also must submit customer references that demonstrate successful projects, meet a revenue commitment, and pass technology and/or sales assessments.

Search Technologies has offered implementation service and ongoing search application support for Microsoft FAST since 2005. Search Technologies can assist with strategic planning, road map development, Search Quality Management, relevancy tuning, maintenance, and Managed Search Services. Its search experts are currently engaged with numerous SharePoint 2010 and 2013 customers, helping them to configure FAST Search for SharePoint or adopt new functionality.

“We have always committed to providing the highest level of consultation and support to our Microsoft customers,” said Kamran Khan, CEO of Search Technologies. “Thanks to our deep understanding of FAST and SharePoint, Search Technologies has been a Microsoft Gold competency designee since 2008. This Gold Collaboration and Content competency once again demonstrates that we truly are the ‘experts in the search space.’”

Attaining the Microsoft Collaboration and Content competency demonstrates partner expertise in offering Microsoft SharePoint technology based solutions to customers that meet organizational collaboration and content needs, help customers maximize efficiencies and take advantage of opportunities, such as business value consulting, change management, architectural design, digital asset management, and Web design and development, all of which can help develop a more profitable business. The Microsoft Collaboration and Content competency can help partners take advantage of the growing services opportunity around SharePoint by demonstrating your ability to offer solutions that connect teams, improve access to information, and increase productivity.

“By achieving a gold competency, partners have demonstrated the highest, most consistent capability and commitment to the latest Microsoft technology,” said Jon Roskill, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “These partners have a deep expertise that puts them in the top 1 percent of our partner ecosystem, and their proficiency will help customers drive innovative solutions on the latest Microsoft technology.”
