Security Life Insurance Company of America is pleased to announce the promotion of Bryan Derheim to Regional Vice President of Sales. Bryan will be responsible for the development and growth of Security Life’s branded ancillary insurance products in the western region of the United States. Selling a mix of dental, vision, life and disability, Bryan will be working with general agents, agencies and employee benefit groups selling both individual and group products.
Based in Minnesota, Bryan brings years of insurance experience to his new role. Bryan started his career at U.S. Bank as a Financial Specialist in the Wealth Management Division where he worked with clients selling insurance and retirement planning services. From there, he became an Internal Retirement Consultant for Allianz Life Financial Services, selling variable and fixed annuities to financial advisors in North Carolina and South Carolina.
In 2012, Bryan brought his talent to Security Life where he has maintained a strong track record of sales success. He served as an Account Executive where he was responsible for driving and retaining sales for Security Life’s branded insurance products throughout the Midwest and beyond.
Bryan will report directly to CEO, Mark Zesbaugh. “As Security Life continues to grow in the employee benefit space, Bryan has demonstrated the ability to build strong relationships with distribution partners in this arena, providing superior benefit solutions with ease,” said Zesbaugh. “We are pleased to have him out in the field, spreading the Security Life story in the Western region.”
