During the month of November, each Lock Up Self Storage facility in the country is offering their fans on Facebook a chance to win an iPod Touch.

As part of their ongoing commitment to staying connected with existing clients as well as welcoming new customers, The Lock Up, a Chicago based self storage company with over 30 climate controlled storage facilities nationwide, is excited to offer the opportunity for visitors to their Facebook page to win an Apple iPod Touch.

“While our high-end facilities are definitely central to our success, we also believe that our emphasis on community outreach and genuine, two-way communication with our clients makes us a cut above the rest in our industry,” says Andrea Carnes, Vice President of Operations for The Lock Up Self Storage. “Facebook has really been a fantastic way to keep people apprised of our latest storage deals and campaigns such as the iPod Touch giveaway, as well as to garner any comments or suggestions they may have for us.”

To enter the Facebook iPod Touch Giveaway contest, simply log onto Facebook, navigate to The Lock Up Self Storage page and click on the "iPod Touch Giveaway" tab. Next, click on the “Like” button above the profile tabs to join their community. (If this button is no longer visible, then you already "Like" The Lock Up Self Storage.) Then, click on the dropdown menu, choose your local Lock Up facility in the list and click the "Go" button. Once the photo of the facility has loaded, click “Like” underneath the photo. You may then select “Share” on the right side bar to notify your Facebook friends of the opportunity to win. The contest will run through the month of November 2010 and one winner per location will be chosen. *Each winner's name will be posted on The Lock Up’s Facebook page shortly after the close of the contest.

“Our goal is to not just collect Facebook fans, but to gain a greater rapport with people across the country so we can tailor our services and special deals to their needs, no matter which facility they might be using,” enthuses Carnes.
