"that is exactly what SelfLube intends to do, by showing an array of products that help mold builders do what they do best: build and deliver high quality molds that will reflect into the future of plastics."
Coopersville, MI (PRWEB) March 31, 2012
It is time for the International Plastics Showcase (NPE). Thousands of companies gather in one central location to show off the latest and greatest in the mold industry and plastics industry. This year NPE will be held for the first time in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center. A very large number of exhibitors and attendees are expected to show up. NPE is held every three years, since the first one, 75 years ago.
SelfLube has been exhibiting at NPE over the past 15 years. This year's theme at NPE is "Breaking the Mold" and according to CEO Phil Allor, "that is exactly what SelfLube intends to do, by showing an array of products that help mold builders do what they do best: build and deliver high quality molds that will reflect into the future of plastics."
SelfLube will have on display its parting line components which are mainly used in mold applications and are available in a broad range of standard sizes. The parting line includes:
- Side, Top and Guide Locks
- Stop Plates
- Hinge Blocks
- Pin Plates
SelfLube's side, top and guide locks are used extensively in the mold industry for precision alignment in the upper and lower portions of a mold. Made of two pieces: a male, which is made of wear resistant 06, hardened to RC 60-62 and black oxide coated; a female made of shock resistant S7 hardened to RC 50-52 and is tin coated.
SelfLube's stop plates and pin plates are used to control closure distance in a mold. They are made of 4140 steel and hardened to RC 44-54. SelfLube's hinge blocks are a convenient spacer used to separate the upper and lower halves when a mold is moved or stored.
Companies are invited to meet SelfLube and see its products at Booth 7245.
SelfLube is a US based manufacturer of precision mold and die components such as bushings, gibs, wear strips, parting line locks, lifter slides and related items - 8,000 standard part numbers in all, many of which are self-lubricating.
