I am just so proud of the way Peter handled the situation
Merrimack, NH (PRWEB) February 3, 2011
Sometimes, the timeshare guys are good guys after all.
A timeshare owner in Jacksonville, Florida is still alive thanks to the quick thinking of an Account Executive with timeshare resale advertising company BuyaTimeshare.com.
Peter Flanagan, working in the company's Merrimack, New Hampshire sales office last Friday, was on the phone with a lady from Jacksonville who had requested information about how to advertise her timeshare for sale. In an instant, the woman collapsed while she was on the phone with him and went into diabetic shock. Rather than panic, Flanagan conferenced in a 911 call, with the authorities alerted in Florida. Flanagan stayed on the phone with the woman and reassured her that help was on the way. The fire department arrived at the woman's house and had to kick her door in so they could help her. Only when the emergency services personnel picked up the phone did Flanagan know that the lady was going to be OK.
"I am just so proud of the way Peter handled the situation," said Wes Kogelman, president and CEO, BuyaTimeshare.com. "We wanted to publicly recognize his actions and what a tremendous deed he performed to help save this woman's life."
Due to privacy laws, the specific details of the incident cannot be released by BuyaTimeshare.com to the general public. However, the good news story was just too exciting for the company to keep to itself.
"Sometimes, we just need to pause, thank the Almighty for what we have and remember just how precious and fragile life can be," added Kogelman.
