Home Instead Senior Care Co-Founders Paul and Lori Hogan Appear on The 700 Club

Paul and Lori Hogan, Co-Founders of Home Instead Senior Care, the world's largest provider of home care services for seniors, appeared on the CBN TV show The 700 Club Tuesday, October 14th, to talk about their company and provide valuable advice to help family caregivers communicate with their aging parents.

Virginia Beach, VA (PRWEB) October 21, 2008 -- Paul and Lori Hogan, Co-Founders of Home Instead Senior Care, the world's largest provider of home care services for seniors, appeared on the CBN TV show The 700 Club Tuesday, October 14th, to talk about their company and provide advice to help family caregivers communicate with their aging parents.

"With a God-given vision, Paul and Lori decided to start a company that would duplicate the way a network of relatives would help an aging person," said Christy Biswell of CBN.com. "To serve that purpose, the company would offer non-medical home care and senior companionship services to help older adults live independently at home."

One of the company's core values is "To honor God in all we do." During the nine-minute segment, the Hogans discussed the growth of their company, which was founded in 1994 and now includes more than 800 franchises in the U.S. and 14 countries.

The Hogans also talked about the company's "40-70 Rule" campaign, which features tips and advice to family caregivers about how to talk with aging parents. Based on original company research, the "40-70 Rule" means if you are 40, or your parents are 70, it's time to start talking about certain senior issues.

"Paul recommended that the sooner these conversations take place the better," Biswell said. "Baby Boomers find it hard to talk with their parents about: needing to leave home; losing driving privileges; money/finances; and health."

The "40-70 Rule" is a free guide that can be downloaded at 4070talk.com or HomeInstead.com. Home Instead Senior Care franchises employ 60,000 trained CAREGivers who provide such services as companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands and shopping.

On the air continuously since 1966, The 700 Club is one of the longest-running programs in broadcast history. The show's format presents a mix of information, interviews and inspiration to viewers.
