According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, about 70 percent of individuals over age 65 will require at least some type of long-term care services during their lifetime. Colorado Senior Care Advisors took a step forward by joining SCAnetwork and assisting those needing help in locating assisted living, residential care homes and dementia care locations that best meet the senior's needs.

Senior Care training program

We were able to learn from an organization already running a successful program, saving months of time and enabling us not to have to reinvent the wheel.

SCAnetwork, a division of Senior Care Authority, provides training to those interested in starting their own senior residential placement business. Colorado Senior Care Advisors, a new senior residential placement service in Denver, completed SCAnetwork’s training and then chose to join as a member of the network.

“We’re thrilled to have trained the team at Colorado Senior Care Advisors and also have them join our membership program. They are true professionals and will be an asset to the senior residential placement business,” said Frank Samson, founder of Senior Care Authority and SCAnetwork.

The program is open to those who want to learn the skills and gain the knowledge to work independently when assisting seniors and their families find the best care at assisted living, residential care homes and dementia care locations. The training, taught by professionals in the health care industry, also includes preparing individuals how to identify the best locations for seniors to live and be cared for.

As an option for those who complete training, SCAnetwork offers their "Subscription Support Program (SSP)" which incorporates website development, search engine optimization, customized online newsletters, lead generation through SCANET and access to a customized, Customer Relationship Management Program.

“The training program was professional and provided us with the necessary knowledge and information to get the business up and running, said Rick Bloeman, a partner with Colorado Senior Advisors.” In addition, they saved us time and energy by providing a much needed CRM program and website, including assistance in writing customized copy for us. We were able to learn from an organization already running a successful program, saving months of time and enabling us not to have to reinvent the wheel,” Bloeman continued.

“Families are under a lot of stress when making these type of decisions for their loved ones, and they like to know that the people are knowledgeable while providing the guidance and input needed. This is what we teach,” Samson says.

The beauty of the Membership program is that we structured it on a subscription basis, each service is optional and does not require any long-term contracts or significant up front money.
