Financial success is just one component of achieving total wealth, according to an upcoming conference. The "2-Day Total Wealth Conference: Roadmap to Attaining Indestructible Wealth" defines total wealth as meeting life goals and building a legacy for the future. The conference will focus on the strategies needed to achieve this holistic approach to wealth. Topics will include: creating income, sustaining wealth, increasing energy, and discovering one’s passion. The event will be held at the Embassy Suites at the Ontario Airport in Ontario, CA on April 26-27, 2013.

Learning to build lasting income is one of the goals of the conference. Self-directed retirement accounts will be presented as a financial strategy to build and achieve total wealth. A special guest speaker from Sense Financial Services will present “The Ultimate Retirement Plan” which will focus on the advantages of the self-directed Roth Solo 401k. The company is California’s leading provider of self-directed retirement accounts with checkbook control.

The Roth Solo 401k is a plan that allows the growth of retirement savings for tax-free use in the future. The plan is a traditional 401k that has been simplified for the self-employed and small business owner. As a simplified plan, the Solo 401k affords additional options to plan participants. The Roth Solo 401k is funded by after tax dollars, giving the account considerable tax advantage. While the plan does not present a tax deduction upfront, it does offer tax-free appreciation and withdrawal.

Plan participants can contribute up to $23,000 to the account, which can then grow tax-free. Account funds can be invested in both traditional and non traditional assets, such as real estate, private businesses, and precious metals. Once the participant reaches age 59 1/2, he or she can then withdraw from the account tax-free. The full amount of the account can also be left to a beneficiary for tax-free use in the future.

The Roth Solo 401k also offers the advantage of checkbook control. The participant is trustee over the account. As trustee, the participant can direct and invest the account without custodian consent, eliminating custodian fees and delays. Investments can be made by writing a check or wiring funds from the account.

Additional seminars will also be featured at the conference, along with expert panels and opportunities for networking. The 2 Day Total Wealth Conference can also be viewed online, via live streaming. Those who wish to attend in person or online can register at:
