Dana Todd Announced as 2007 Top Person of Search
Winner announced of the top person of search GSINC poll. Dana Todd comes in as the winner.
Birmingham, West Midlands, UK (PRWEB) January 8, 2008 -- In the run up to 2008, UK search marketing firm GSINC Ltd launched a charity Christmas poll seeking to find the most popular people of search marketing. Voters were given a choice between 40 top search marketing professionals which included the likes of Danny Sullivan, Rand Fishkin and even Google's Matt Cutts. A profile page was also available about each person.
For the last 2 weeks of December 2007 visitors to the site voted via the online poll available at http://www.gsinc.co.uk/people/
With the votes counted, GSINC have announced that Dana Todd of SiteLab received the most votes, and so she is crowned the top person of search for 2007.
The top 5 search marketers with the most votes in the poll were:
Dana Todd - 19.8%
Jennifer Laycock - 11.6%
Danny Sulllivan - 8.6%
Matt Cutts - 7.8%
Rand Fishkin - 7.4%
The prize offered by GSINC Ltd was a charity donation of $500.00 to the winner's charity of choice. Dana Todd has chosen the Jenna Druck Foundation and $500.00 has been sent to the foundation.
