Business owners struggle when it comes to the Internet – many of them are afraid of it when they really shouldn’t be
Saint Louis, Missouri (PRWEB) May 31, 2012
Let’s face it – if you aren’t number one on Google, you might as well not be on Google at all. But getting to the number one slot (or even the first page) of Google is still a mystery for most small business owners.
One local company is helping change that – Saint Louis internet marketing agency WhereIsMyBusiness.com has been hosting monthly Search Engine Optimization (SEO) meetups for nearly a year and a half now.
These classes, or meetups as they’re officially called, are full of Saint Louis business owners that want to learn themselves how they can move their website up the rankings. Doug Belleville, owner of STLBeds, a local organic mattress retailer, is a prime example.
“These meetups are terrific. There is always great information and it is given to us in a way that we can take back to our office and apply immediately,” says Belleville.
Will Hanke, owner of WIMB has actually been helping businesses for nearly 15 years with their online strategy. “Business owners struggle when it comes to the Internet – many of them are afraid of it when they really shouldn’t be,” says Hanke. “I’m fortunate to have this knowledge, and I love sharing it with others.
The meetups are held every month, usually on a Thursday evening, at the Staybridge Suites in Westport. Only 30 seats are available, and the cost is just $10 – enough for Hanke to cover the room and expenses.
The next class, on June 21st, brings in several Internet Marketing experts from the Saint Louis area for live on-the-spot website audits.
