In this new position at Performics, Friesen joins a rapidly growing optimization services group and will work closely with Eric Papczun, VP of SEO and Feeds, to lead SEO efforts for a wide range of clients.

Friesen has a busy first week on tap at Performics, spending most of it at SMX East in New York where he will participate as a subject matter expert in three SEO related panel discussions. On Tuesday, October 5, Friesen joins five other industry luminaries on the “Search, PR & Reputation Management” panel, part of the conference’s Marketing Track from 4:45 to 6:00 p.m. On Wednesday, October 6, Friesen takes part in two additional sessions. “In-house Search: Managing Conflict and Expectations” takes place from 10:30 – 11:45 a.m., and “Ask the SEOs,” billed as a “no-holds-barred, all-questions-welcomed session” offers 15 minutes of Q&A at 1:45 p.m..
