Julia Hamm, President and CEO of the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) will host several events and press conferences during next week’s Solar Power International (SPI) 2010 conference in Los Angeles. In addition, Hamm will be available throughout the conference for in-person (for members of the media attending SPI) and phone interviews.
Solar Power International is being co-hosted by SEPA and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and is the largest solar trade show in North America with more than 1,100 exhibitors and 27,000 professional attendees. SPI recently was awarded two of the trade show industry’s most prestigious awards by Trade Show Executive magazine, the award for Most Dramatic Growth in Exhibitors and the “Show to Watch” award.
During SPI, Hamm will offer remarks on: the state of the utility solar industry
- The state of the utility solar industry
- SEPA’s recent fact-finding mission to Japan with solar utility leaders
- A new study examining the solar energy employment picture across the country. SEPA and SEIA co-sponsored research by The Solar Foundation, which will be presented at a press conference on October 13.
