Company to participate as exhibitor and panelist at I/ITSEC tradeshow

Serco Inc., a provider of professional, technology, and management services to the federal government, announced today that the Company has been named a 2010 Top Simulation and Training Company by Military Training Technology (MTT) magazine. The company was recognized for their work in developing an approach to define, model and satisfy defense agencies’ mission-critical Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) requirements.

Serco developed and implemented a 3D modeling and mission simulation of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework. The Company’s 3D approach to Enterprise Architecture improves the users understanding of how best to integrate enterprise operations for optimal fulfillment of war fighting capabilities.    

Serco’s training and simulation practice is focused on assisting clients in preparing their workforce for optimum performance through the planning and implementation of enterprise-wide learning and simulation programs. The Company focuses on the areas of virtual and social learning environments, which include training simulations, and virtual workspaces, classrooms and exercises that connect individuals or teams in real-time to learn, practice, problem-solve and innovate in an authentic and safe environment.    

This is Serco’s eighth straight year to be recognized by MTT’s Top Simulation and Training for its performance in the global training systems industry. The company will be exhibiting at this year’s Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) conference being held in Orlando, Florida from Nov 29th through Dec 2nd. Serco will showcase their Learning and Human Capital capabilities, including those in the areas of cyber defense, gaming, analytical modelling, and Human Capital “hire to retire” support. At the I/ITSEC conference Maureen Baginski, Serco’s Vice President of Intelligence Business and National Security Advisor will participate in a panel to discuss “The Role of Modelling and Simulation in Cyber Training and Readiness for the Battle of the Narrative”.
