LCC International Announces Key Contract Wins for Advanced Services in WiMAX and EV-DO: Company Sees Increased Interest in Fixed Network Engineering and Spectrum Management Services

LCC International, Inc., (NASDAQ:LCCI), a global leader in wireless voice and data turn-key services, announced today that in recent weeks it has received $11M in contracts for WiMAX and EV-DO advanced network services from large North American wireless operators and it sees increased momentum in Fixed Network Engineering (FNE) and advanced consulting services.

Another area of increasing activity is our Spectrum Management Services. With the recent FCC decision concerning the 700 MHz auction, LCC will play a key role in supporting investors and customers to create ROI models and technical evaluations to maximize the potential that this spectrum has to offer.

LCC will provide WiMAX services and solutions that include technology evaluations, in-lab testing, as well as design and continuous wave (CW) testing. LCC's breadth of WiMAX experience includes a deep understanding of the broadband technology, extensive knowledge of multi-vendor and multi protocol environments, in-depth business analysis capabilities and network trial and field experience. "We are seeing considerable traction in the areas where we made significant investments at the end of 2006 and early 2007. In addition, we are leveraging our recent acquisitions to create real value as we broaden our key services to support 3G and 4G technologies," said Dean Douglas, LCC President and CEO. "LCC continues to demonstrate its market leadership by providing offerings that address the requirements of large carriers as they migrate to new technologies."

LCC will also provide its technical and engineering expertise to deliver EV-DO Optimization services. "With the continued evolution of broadband networks throughout the United States, we are seeing an increase in demand for our vast portfolio of advanced services in the market areas that we have identified as high growth. This is in keeping with the strategy we put in place in 2006," continued Mr. Douglas.

In parallel to the broadband network-based services above, LCC is seeing an increase in demand for Fixed Network Engineering and Spectrum Management Services. Fixed Network Engineering provides backhaul routing solutions as well as interconnect evolution studies to assist with backhaul design and data engineering. "Backhaul is quickly becoming a priority as operators work to maximize their network performance to meet customer requirements and data utilization. Traffic management now becomes critical to operators as they focus on delivering high-speed data services while managing operating expenses. Our FNE services offering address these market requirements with an innovative approach borne of real experience with fixed networks and backhaul services across the globe," said Mr. Douglas. "Another area of increasing activity is our Spectrum Management Services. With the recent FCC decision concerning the 700 MHz auction, LCC will play a key role in supporting investors and customers to create ROI models and technical evaluations to maximize the potential that this spectrum has to offer."

With the recent acquisition of WFI's domestic RF engineering business, LCC is now the largest engineering services provider for wireless networks. LCC offers carriers, equipment manufacturers and cable operators a robust range of services and delivers a team of experts with unparalleled skills and experience.

"We are very pleased to see the increased momentum in our Broadband services offerings, especially HSDPA, EV-DO and WiMAX. This augments our significant capabilities in UMTS and CDMA 1XRTT network platforms. Given our growth and recent acquisitions, LCC is well positioned to deliver a premium services offering to all our clients throughout North America. We are extremely excited with the breadth of services we can now offer in the Americas and believe these recent contract wins are indicative of our leadership position in the marketplace," concluded Mr. Douglas.
