These fundamentals are essential in order to sew. Students who complete the class will also receive a class completion certificate.

Shannon has been sewing for decades but has focused on teaching sewing skills since 1996. She has been an active PatternReview.com instructor for the last 2 years and has taught a variety of classes. Online sewing classes consist of downloadable lessons, real time chats as well as a message board where questions and answers are exchanged. PatternReview.com established this format for online sewing classes in 2003 and has run classes on diverse topics.

Peggy, one of Shannon's students from another class commented about her experience: "I was very apprehensive about taking an internet class, but PatternReview.com online classes are great! Lessons were delivered each morning and were very clear with great photos. Shannon was very accessible and answered all questions very quickly and thoroughly. I printed out all the lessons and have a great workbook to refer to when I make skirts in the future. This class did a great job no matter what your sewing level."
