Portland, OR (PRWEB) December 19, 2012
California’s Assembly Bill 1825 requires all California employers with fifty or more employees or contractors must have their supervisors complete an AB1825 compliant training every two years. All state and local municipalities must take this training, regardless of the number of employees or contractors.
California is the leader in legislating the most rigorous requirements for sexual harassment training, so this course is often used by organizations as the standard throughout the country. Offered as a component of an organization’s sexual harassment policy, the training helps to protect employees from harmful and unwanted sexual conduct and behaviors. Employers that require this training are both abiding by the law and also taking the necessary precautions to ensure their employees are not the victim of harmful behavior.
Succeed’s comprehensive course satisfies AB 1825 requirements and ensures supervisors are compliant. This module, in addition to an organization-specific sexual harassment policy, helps prevent discrimination and harassment of all types in the workplace. Trainees will learn how to recognize and stop harassment, as well as encourage respect and create an open atmosphere where all employees can share their concerns without fear of retaliation. Trainees learn how to prevent hostile work environments, gender bias, and discrimination retaliation. They also learn the different types of sexual harassment (quid pro quo, for example) and how to change discriminatory workplace behaviors that contribute to sexual harassment.
The California Sexual Harassment Module is offered through Succeed’s Training Track™ application, which ensures that all supervisors are trained. Since the training is online, supervisors only need a computer with internet access, and do not have to take the training at the same time or in the same location. This can save organizations significant time and money as they do not have to hire an in-person trainer, twice a year.
The Training Track™ allows organizations to monitor, automate, and run reports for all assigned trainings, including the California Sexual Harassment Training. Training Track™ provides a holistic and comprehensive training solution!
