“We have a number of very popular costume categories, but certain themes stand out, year after year, as our bestsellers,” Janikyan said. “We frequently get asked what our most popular costumes are, so we decided to do a little research and find out what our five most popular costume categories are.”
The most popular costumes on their site, Janikyan reveals, are:
1.) The school girl costume. The school girl costume has been a long time favorite, with its connotations of the mixture of both naughtiness and innocence. The short skirts, usually with a plaid design, are very flattering and make any woman’s legs look long and lean. The short plaid skirt is generally paired with white stockings and a white shirt. The skirts can be ordered in a variety of patterns and plaids. It’s easy for purchasers to accessorize and personalize their costumes if they so desire. They can add items from their favorite school, they can carry textbooks, an apple, or a notebook, and they can wear various hats, headbands, and stockings.

It’s another super flattering costume which has been popular for decades. It generally comes in slimming black, accented with white ruffles under the short skirt. It cinches in the waist with its lace-up front and gives the wearer an hourglass figure. The angel represents purity and goodness, and is a concept that is thousands of years old.
