Along with bringing the application in line with the latest releases of Windows, CodeTwo programmers have introduced a wide range of improvements to simplify the work with CodeTwo Public Folders 4.5 itself. These include a new option in the context menu for personal folders that can be shared now in a single click, support for indexing in Windows Desktop Search as well as Vista and Windows 7's indexers, changed synchronization algorithms facilitating switching between online and offline modes, and finally improved synchronization between Outlook Add-ins thanks to data compression.

What is more, the installer is now capable of looking up the currently used version of the program and suggesting whether an upgrade is necessary. We have also changed the licensing system - the current one eliminates the need to send us the registration code from the program in order to receive the activation.
