Victor Chataboon, a founder of the Houston SharePoint Saturday series and a leader in the Houston SharePoint User Group Community, will be a featured speaker at the SharePoint Saturday Dallas event. During this session, Chataboon will introduce SharePoint to IT professionals who are interested in learning the basics.

SharePoint is being adopted by the business world at a very rapid, almost viral, rate.What happens when management wants SharePoint and you become anointed as the person to roll it out, or manage and administer your companies implementation? This presentation will help you get a good feel for what you need to do to work effectively with SharePoint and ensure a successful implementation.
With more than 15 years in IT, Chataboon’s experience includes supporting users, training users, developing tools for users, systems administration, system monitoring, systems architecture and information architecture. He is an active leader and participant in the Houston technology community, most recently serving as the President of the Houston SharePoint Users Group (H-SPUG) and continuing as the Board Chair. Chataboon started the Houston SharePoint Saturday (SPSHOU) series and continues to lead efforts in that event. Also, he participates in the Houston TechFest organization as a member of the Steering Committee.
