We felt very strongly that we needed to have our products available to our customers and partners, and also to other early adopters who would want to start using the beta immediately. The Workplace Suite, Data Integration Toolset and AppEngine for SharePoint products we are announcing today are full-functionality versions of those products, ready to run on SharePoint 2010.

CorasWorks Corporation, a global leader in applications and application development tools for the Microsoft SharePoint platform, today announced the general availability of its application development tools for Microsoft SharePoint 2010.

The SharePoint 2010 versions of the Workplace Suite, Data Integration Toolset and AppEngine for SharePoint are now available at no cost to any CorasWorks customers or partners running the SharePoint 2010 beta and having an active Premier Annual Support and Maintenance plan with the company. The tools are also available for purchase to the general SharePoint market. All tools are fully supported by CorasWorks.

In addition to its application development tools, CorasWorks will also release several applications running on the SharePoint 2010 platform later this month.

"We knew there was going to be a certain subset of the SharePoint community that would be off and running with SharePoint 2010 as soon as it was released in a formal beta," said Gary Voight, President and CEO of CorasWorks. "We felt very strongly that we needed to have our products available to our customers and partners, and also to other early adopters who would want to start using the beta immediately. The Workplace Suite, Data Integration Toolset and AppEngine for SharePoint products we are announcing today are full-functionality versions of those products, ready to run on SharePoint 2010."

The SharePoint 2010 versions of the Workplace Suite, Data Integration Toolset and AppEngine for SharePoint include the same powerful feature set currently being used by more than 1,000 organizations and 1 million users worldwide. The products allow users to design, build and manage applications on the Microsoft SharePoint platform without the cost and complexity of custom code.

CorasWorks is building on the SharePoint 2010 feature set to take its business applications both deeper and broader. For example, the company will be expanding its solutions to include line of business database applications, social collaboration, integrated cloud services and interactive Internet solutions.

CorasWorks is making this announcement while attending the Microsoft SharePoint Conference 2009 in Las Vegas, NV.
