Organizations have prioritized innovation, and they are investing in Cim 2.0 early in their transition to SharePoint 2010 to drive innovation initiatives and business value through our Idea & Innovation Management solution and Social Business Processes.

CorasWorks Corporation, a global leader in business solutions and applications on the Microsoft SharePoint collaboration and social platform, today announced that it is experiencing rapid adoption of its Cim 2.0 product to drive innovation on the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 platform.

Since Cim 2.0 was released in February, CorasWorks has seen a dramatic increase in adoption of Cim on SharePoint 2010, as evidenced by the signing of many new customers since the release. These new customers highlight the breadth and diversity of organizations adopting Cim on SharePoint 2010 and include:

  •     UCB, a large biopharma headquartered in Brussels
  •     International Flavors and Fragrances, a global manufacturer of flavors and fragrances headquartered in New York City
  •     Skechers, a leading footwear designer, manufacturer and retailer headquartered in Manhattan Beach, Calif.
  •     Lockheed Martin, a global security company headquartered in Bethesda, Md.
  •     Legions of Christ, a global religious congregation headquartered in Rome

“There is clear indication that the mass of SharePoint customers are now beginning their transition to SharePoint 2010, and they are expecting a higher level of business value from their investment,” said William Rogers, co-founder and Chief Workplace Architect at CorasWorks. “Organizations have prioritized innovation, and they are investing in Cim 2.0 early in their transition to SharePoint 2010 to drive innovation initiatives and business value through our Idea & Innovation Management solution and Social Business Processes.”

Cim 2.0 is a social business system and key enabler of social business solutions, such as Idea & Innovation Management and Social Business Processes. CorasWorks announced the release of Cim 2.0 last month. Cim runs natively on the SharePoint 2010 platform and leverages core platform capabilities and many of the social and collaboration features of the platform. CorasWorks also offers a version of Cim for SharePoint 2007.

“SharePoint is broadly adopted and typically deployed as a distributed work environment. Now, with Cim 2.0, SharePoint 2010 becomes a powerful platform for driving organizational innovation. Cim taps into all parts of the distributed environment and drives innovation as part of how people work—not as a separate, siloed application,” said Rogers.
