DSG became the official digital partner of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) earlier this year and have since launched a number of Player profile fan pages on social media site Facebook as well as providing official player pages on their football news site, football.co.uk. It was today the turn of Manchester United’s Shinji Kagagwa to see his official PFA Profile.

The new United midfielder signed for the Manchester club in June 2012 from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund. Kagawa has been pivotal for the recent success of the German side helping them win the league and cup double in the 2011-12 season and the league in his first season in 2010-11.

Kagawa also boasts impressive statistics from his time at Dortmund with 21 goals in 49 appearances. Sir Alex Ferguson and the Manchester United fans will all be hoping that he can continue this fine form in the upcoming Premier League season.

Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say “Kagawa will have no shortage of fans after a highly couple of successful seasons with Dortmund in the Bundesliga with United fans hoping to see this success emulated this season in the Premier League for the Manchester club.”

“Of course becoming the first Japanese player to sign for Manchester United requires a certain level of respect and responsibility and he is sure to be a major hit with fans on Facebook.”

Digital Sports Group will provide further PFA player profiles for every professional footballer in England. The Shinji Kagagwa facebook page is now live.
