Automotive Aftermarket brands continue to rev up their sales with Shopatron, resulting in 12.5 percent year-over-year online sales growth in the first half of 2010.

Shopatron, the leading provider of retail-integrated eCommerce, has also launched new eCommerce sites for a number of automotive aftermarket brands this year, including Rhino Rack, EGR, Creative Car Audio, Eibach Springs, Air Lift, Progressive Suspension and Burly Brand.
In all, Shopatron partners with more than 70 automotive aftermarket brands to help them sell online and deliver parts through a nationwide network of automotive dealers. Those brands will be busy over the next four months, gearing up for the holiday season and attending the various automotive trade shows and events across the country.
Watch for JL Audio and other Shopatron client brands on stage this week at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Las Vegas. The event is scheduled for Thursday through Saturday and will be aired on SPEED TV.
Painless Performance and Performance Accessories are sponsors of next week’s Annual Performance Warehouse Association Conference in Phoenix. The event runs Sept. 26-29 and draws more than two dozen manufacturers from Shopatron’s client list, including: Belltech, Bulldog Winch Company, Bully Dog, Centerforce, CTEK Power Inc., Dee Zee, Diablo Sport, Flex-A-Lite, G-Force, Gibson, Grant Products, Hedman Performance, KW Automotive, Midway Industries, MSD, Nitrous Express, Optima Batteries, PerTronix, Revtek, Skyjacker Suspension, Spectre Performance, Taylor Cable and Thermo-Tec.
Many Shopatron clients will also be on hand at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas (Nov. 2-5), and Performance Racing Industry Trade Show (Dec. 9-11) in Orlando.

In fact, our same-store sales across all of our stores last month were about 30 percent above last year. We have not seen these kinds of growth rates for some time. By utilizing their dealers as fulfillment partners, Shopatron brands offer in-store pickup for online orders. Shopatron offers several options for in-store pickup service, including a “ship to store” model that works well for automotive aftermarket products that may not be stocked by dealers and often require installation. When an online shopper selects ship-to-store delivery, their chosen dealer may immediately fill the order if they have the item in stock, or the manufacturer can ship the item to the dealer for pickup or installation at a later time.

With the addition of ship to store, brands like JL Audio are able to generate sales on their website and send foot traffic to their authorized dealers. This allows shoppers to purchase from a brand site they trust and obtain expert service and advice from their local dealer.
