Showcase Software Limited has added analytics functionality to its sales presentation app for tablets. This will allow enterprise-level sales managers to monitor presentations by a dispersed sales force with a degree of detail that has only become possible with the advent of tablets.
“Showcase’s analytics will provide our customers with an unprecedented level of understanding of which elements of their sales propositions are engaging their markets,” said Adam Blackwell, vice president of marketing for Showcase Software.
The customised analytics functionality will track metrics such as how long users are logged into their Showcase presentations, which pieces of sales collateral are used in the presentation, and which of those pieces are attracting the sales prospect’s attention. With traditional, printed sales materials, the depth of this data was not possible.
“This addition comes in response to our customers’ requests,” said Blackwell. “They’ve asked for that data to get a better picture of their customers’ demands, their sales teams’ behaviour, and how they can improve their offering and positioning.”
