MJA Advertising announced today that its client “The Shrine Auditorium” – which has hosted more entertainment events than any other venue including the Emmy’s, the Miss Universe pageant, the Academy Awards and the Grammy’s - will open its doors and welcome sponsors. For eighty years “The Shrine” has been the preferred home for Hollywood’s royalty and red carpet events and will now offer businesses the chance to be a partner in its heritage.

Founded in 1906 by the Shriners Fraternity (a brotherhood which provides funding for the 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children throughout North America), the Moroccan inspired venue is one, if not the only, last remaining Hollywood bastion to be made available for sponsorship. Recent years have seen other successful venues offer title sponsorship, from “The Kodak Theater” to the “The Staples Center.” In a similar vein, with its title sponsorship “The Shrine Auditorium” will present a number of unique branding opportunities to businesses looking for national recognition and competitive edge.

Title sponsorship would offer, amongst other things, visual and audio exposure in each of the numerous awards shows and programs annually televised. Visibility can equate to tens of millions of national impressions for televised events - not to mention the immeasurable impressions from each time the “the world famous Shrine Auditorium” is mentioned by reporting ‘red carpet media.’

In addition to its title sponsorship, “The Shrine” will offer limited sponsorship opportunities ranging from individual $2,000 per-show display advertisements to $65,000 per month billboard placement or multi-item bronze, gold or platinum packages from $150,000 to $500,000. These premier packages present an assortment of brand opportunities including signage, video advertising, on-site interactive sales tie-ins and tickets to premier events.

About the Shrine Auditorium and the Shriners Fraternity

The Shrine Auditorium features the single largest stage in the United States with some 6,300 seats and an adjoining 54,000 square foot Expo Center. Founded in 1906, the Shrine is owned and operated by the Al Malaikah Auditorium Company (part of the Shrine Al Malaikah Temple).
