previously, shrink wrap was mainly used to wrap boats and as we have seen throughout our twenty years it has many other uses, in fact with the help of our customers we frequently find new items that can benefit from the protection offered by shrink wrap.

Mr. Shrinkwrap Protective Services, Inc., an industrial packaging and protective covering company (http://www.mrshrinkwrap.com) announced the celebration of their 20th season covering boats.

Since 1991, Mr. Shrinkwrap has evolved from a local boat covering service, to a thriving business with a national scope, offering on-site shrink wrap services and becoming a leading distributor of shrink film, poly film, heat guns, shrink wrap tape, preservation tape, stretch wrap, self adhering films, and shrink wrap supplies.. Mr. Shrinkwrap has been asked to provide shrink wrap services for objects as diverse as the Italian Fountains of Longwood Gardens to nuclear power turbines. “We’ve wrapped a replica of an 89 foot long Swedish Tall Ship for winter storage, which was probably the most interesting” said David Baker, President “but the strangest thing we’ve wrapped is a prototype of a flying boat.”

To celebrate its 20th season of shrink wrap boat covers, Mr. Shrinkwrap is offering a 10% discount to customers who have their boat wrapped before October 15th, 2010.

From its headquarters and distribution center in suburban Philadelphia, Mr. Shrinkwrap ships product daily to a variety of industries and businesses nationwide and has provided on-site shrink wrap services in most Mid-Atlantic States as well as various shrink wrap projects around the country. Mr. Shrinkwrap provides shrink wrapping services for sensitive industrial components and equipment, infrastructure projects and apparatus, construction and remediation containment barriers, preservation of historic structures, emergency services to homeowners and businesses and of course seasonal shrink wrapping services for outdoor furniture, living areas, RV’s and boat covers.

Mr. Shrinkwrap has been a strong community advocate throughout their history, with annual support of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Delaware, as well as reduced fee services and materials for the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation and several other community service organizations.

Mr. Shrinkwrap Protective Services, Inc. was founded in May 1991 by David Baker who, after a successful career in corporate management answered the call of entrepreneurship. “At the time, shrink wrap was a new thing and I was excited by the potential that I saw for it”, Baker continues “previously, shrink wrap was mainly used to wrap boats and as we have seen throughout our twenty years it has many other uses, in fact with the help of our customers we frequently find new items that can benefit from the protection offered by shrink wrap.”
