"We are excited to announce that we have re-opened Registrations for 2nd Level and 3rd Level .CN Domains" says M. Bulent Turkoglu, Sibername’s founder.
Previously, China's domain-name authority, CNNIC, had only required SiberName to collect the name, address and e-mail address of .CN customers, and that information is commonly provided when people register domain names worldwide. CNNIC changed the regulations and was requesting additional personal information for all domain owners. Many registrars stopped offering registrations of .CN domain names upon the strict rules implemented by the CNNIC. The rules are now softened and that led some companies like SiberName to the decision of enabling the .CN registrations. For the parties interested in, .CN Domain Names can be registered through Sibername's .CN domain name registration page.
