Dr. Sanford Siegal, creator of the ever-popular Dr. Siegal's® COOKIE DIET™ weight loss system and hunger-controlling foods, today announced that his second Phoenix-area kiosk will open this Saturday, January 12th, at Chandler Fashion Center. His first in the area opened at Paradise Valley Mall last month. Dr. Siegal will attend grand opening events at both locations this weekend. He'll be at Chandler Fashion Center on Saturday from 1 to 3pm and at Paradise Valley Mall on Sunday from 2 to 4pm.

The kiosks sell Dr. Siegal's® COOKIE DIET™ brand diet cookies and nutritional supplements. The cookies are available in five flavors: chocolate, oatmeal raisin, blueberry, coconut and banana. Dr. Siegal's® COOKIE DIET™ brand shakes and soup with the same hunger-suppressing properties will soon be available there. The foods contain no drugs and are available without a prescription. In order to encourage people to be under their own doctor's supervision while on any kind of reduced-calorie diet, no consultation, membership, or other fees are required to purchase Dr. Siegal's products.

"Due to our extensive promotion on KISS FM and other radio stations, there are so many people in Phoenix who use our Dr. Siegal's® COOKIE DIET™ foods to control their hunger. I'm looking forward to meeting them and hearing their success stories," said Dr. Siegal.

Dr. Siegal conceived the idea of a six-cookies-a-day diet in 1975 in order to control his patients' hunger and help them stick to a reduced-calorie diet. His products have been used by more than 500,000 people, most of whom have been patients of Dr. Siegal or of the approximately 200 other doctors he has supplied as part of his CookieDoctor™ Professional Reseller Network. Dr. Siegal and his weight loss system and foods have been profiled by Fox News Channel, New York Daily News, Woman's World, Good Morning America and many other media outlets. Over the weekend he was featured in an E! Entertainment Network special on diets that will be shown again this Thursday, January 10th, at 8pm EST.

The Dr. Siegal's® COOKIE DIET™ brand diet cookies, shakes and soup contain the Miami physician's secret blend of hunger-suppressing amino acid food proteins. They're made in his private bakery where, at age 79, he personally mixes every batch of his proprietary protein formula with his own hands.

In his South Florida medical practice, Siegal Medical Group, Dr. Siegal's patients eat six cookies during the day to control hunger and then a reasonable dinner at night. Most patients who follow his instructions exactly lose 12 to 15 lbs. per month. Those who are not his patients and buy his products online or in stores are directed to consult their own doctor before starting any kind of reduced-calorie diet.

From 2002 until mid-2006, Dr. Siegal licensed a company to open weight management centers that used his trademarks, six-cookies-a-day weight loss system, and hunger-controlling cookies, shakes and soup. Dr. Siegal no longer supplies his products to any of his former franchisee's locations.

The Dr. Siegal's® COOKIE DIET™ kiosks in Phoenix are located at Chandler Fashion Center, 3111 West Chandler Boulevard and Paradise Valley Mall, 4568 East Cactus Road. Products can also be ordered by phone 24/7 at 866-464-5595 toll-free and online at
