SIG, the premier membership organization for sourcing, procurement and outsourcing executives, announces its fall schedule of events that bring together executives from Global 1000 and Fortune 500 companies. In addition to weekly webinars and monthly town hall teleconferences, SIG announces six live events in three different formats for executives to network and discuss issues and best practices in sourcing, procurement, outsourcing, offshoring, and nearshoring.
Says SIG President and CEO, Dawn Evans, “Our fall line-up offers events all over North America in both large-scale environments and intimate settings. There is something for everyone, regardless of travel budgets. All events provide opportunities for networking and best practice sharing, and attract a great audience because of the senior executive speakers on our agenda, including Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs) from globally recognized brand names.”
“We consistently hear from our members that they leave our events with immediately implementable solutions,” adds Stephani McGarry, SIG Senior Director of Global Events. “When I hear comments like that, I know we put together a successful event.”
The SIG fall calendar includes:
- Regional Roundtables in Denver, CO on August 21st and Columbus, OH on December 4th – these one-day events are hosted at a SIG buy-side member location and enable buy-side executives to hear the latest thought leadership through presentations, roundtable discussions and networking in a collegial, non-commercial environment.
- Symposiums in Silicon Valley, CA on September 25th, Toronto, ON on October 24th and the New York area on November 7th. Symposiums are one day “mini-Summits” that enable senior buy-side sourcing and outsourcing executives across industries to share successes and failures, engage in open dialogues and address challenges. Symposiums begin with a live buy-side Peer2Peer discussion; include industry benchmarking, buy-side presentations by CPOs or their direct reports, concurrent breakout sessions; and conclude with an evening networking reception.
- Global Leadership Summit in Fort Worth, TX from October 15-17th. SIG offers two Summits annually with a robust three-day agenda, during which all members come together for executive roundtables, workshops, keynote sessions, breakout sessions and multiple networking opportunities where they access the latest thought leadership, discuss issues and share best practices.
