zipdeeloo.com creates convenience and benefits for members living in the same area. This new national website wants members to use local resources and neighbors to make everyday life easier.
Through shared calendars, a marketplace, discussion forums and networking capabilities, members can organize car pools, kids activities, ride shares, exchange professional services, borrow/trade items and reach out to neighbors for help and resources. “zipdeeloo is all about convenience.” Co-founder Kimberly Walker said. “We realized the benefit of creating a virtual community that helps you do more than interact with your neighbors. zipdeeloo isn’t just about social networking, it’s about saving time, money and being able to exchange valuable information as a result of your location.”
A feature of zipdeeloo is zipt. zipt allows members to create highly personalized groups based on relationships, organizations or events. “We love zipt,” Co-founder Elizabeth Patano-Jaworek said. “Finally, a way to not to send or receive 35 separate e-mails about the next condo association meeting.” zipt allows users to invite established connections and friends in their community to share specific information, discussions, calendars and albums.
Walker and Patano-Jaworek, entrepreneurs and parents saw an opportunity to create a social community that currently does not exist on the web. “With social media, people are connecting thousands of miles away,” Walker said. “That’s great, but these people aren’t going to loan you a tool, or give you their sitter’s name when you need it. zipdeeloo wants to make life easier.”
People interested in joining zipdeeloo are encouraged to pre-register at signup.zipdeeloo.com. zipdeeloo is scheduled for a fall launch.
zipdeeloo was founded in 2012 and is a proximity-based social media site and mobile application that creates everyday value by allowing members in the same zip code to connect, network and share.
