An excerpt from “The Price of Deception”:
“‘Act your age,’ she said. ‘You have been terrorizing this nation for years; now it is your turn. I am giving you a taste of your own medicine.’ Naledi pushed Uncle Monate’s testicles upwards and made a neat incision underneath them. He began to bleed profusely, and Naledi tried to arrest bleeding with a paper towel. Tears flowed from his eyes as a sharp pain tore his heart; he became restless and moved from side to side. His cries were muffled behind the tape; his groans continued. Naledi removed his family jewels and put them on his nose, no anesthesia was used during the operation, and Uncle Monate was in unbearable pain.”
