SimpleTuition Adds Student Loans for New Hampshire Families

Partnership with New Hampshire Non-profit Loan Corporation Expands Student Loan Options Available at SimpleTuition.com

NEWTON, Mass. & CONCORD, N.H. (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) August 7, 2007 -- SimpleTuition, Inc., a company dedicated to helping students and parents make sense of education financing choices, today announced a partnership with New Hampshire Higher Education Loan Corporation (NHHELCO) to help New Hampshire families plan for and fund higher education expenses.

NHHELCO is one of four organizations that comprise the NHHEAF (New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation) Network Organizations. Also included are the Granite State Management & Resources and NHHEAF Network Educational Foundation. Together, they are the largest source for college funding within New Hampshire and have a more than 40-year history of helping families plan for and fund higher education.

Our partnership with SimpleTuition enables us to provide better information for potential borrowers as they navigate the often confusing path to financing a higher education, said Tori Berube, the Organizations vice president of product marketing and business services.

The New Hampshire Higher Education Loan Corporations (NHHELCO) Stafford, PLUS, GradPLUS and Federal Consolidation loans can easily be researched and compared with more than 100 different loan types from 45 other lenders at SimpleTuition.com. Search results can be sorted by monthly payment, total cost of the loan, number of payments, first payment due date, with or without borrower benefits and APR. Results contain detailed information about loan processing, borrower benefits and other attributes. As NHHELCO loans are selected by the borrower, the borrower is redirected to the NHHELCO site, where the entire application process can be completed online.

Parents and students have a difficult time navigating the student loan landscape, said Kevin Walker, CEO of SimpleTuition. We strive to provide the most comprehensive list of loans from various lenders, including nonprofit organizations like NHHELCO, to help parents and students make the best choice for their unique financial situation.

SimpleTuition is an independent, online resource to help families compare and analyze federal and private student loans. SimpleTuition is not a lender.
