SimpleTuition, Inc., a company dedicated to helping students and parents make sense of education financing choices, today announced that Scott Savitz has joined the company's Board of Directors. Mr. Savitz is the founder and CEO of Shoebuy.com, the largest retailer on the Internet focused on all categories of footwear and related apparel. Shoebuy.com is now a subsidiary of IAC/Interactive Corp. (Nasdaq: IACI).

His expertise will be invaluable as SimpleTuition continues to grow its business and presence in the education financing marketplace.

    Mr. Savitz joins existing board members Kevin Walker, CEO of SimpleTuition; Eric Hjerpe, partner, Atlas Venture; Jeff Bussgang, general partner, IDG Ventures; and Ralph James, executive director of Executive Education at Harvard Business School. Each board member brings valuable perspective and a wealth of experience to the SimpleTuition team.
