Rainbow Bridge Program offers extended periods of study time. Not only will the students be able to enjoy complete cultural immersion, but they will find themselves building firm foundations in the Chinese language without having to spend a fortune.
San Jose, CA. (PRWEB) April 30, 2013
Sino Language Gateway (SLG), a leading provider of study abroad cultural immersion programs for youth, announced the launching of the Rainbow Bridge International Exchange Program to the US high students. The program brings students around the world to Shanghai to learn the Chinese language and culture. To provide the premiere learning experience, the Rainbow Bridge program allows students to spend an entire year or semester in Shanghai as a local student with a host family for complete and extended cultural immersion.
The program was initiated by Shanghai Tangfeng Education (TFE) and sprung into fruition through partnerships with SLG and The High School Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, or Jiao Da Fu Zhong. All three organizations have an abundant amount of experience providing students with high quality education and support, so the Rainbow Bridge Program is guaranteed to help the students improve their Chinese proficiency, gain knowledge and understanding of the world, and prepare for the future.
The Rainbow Bridge Program is incredibly unique because it is one of the very few exchange programs of its kind available to young U.S. students. While attending local school and staying with their host families, students will be able to experience Chinese holidays with the locals, have constant interactions with Chinese students on campus, and receive enhanced Chinese conversation skills through the daily use and application of the language within Chinese society.
“Our most popular and reputable programs, which are the Chinese language summer camp and the Leadership and Community Service Programs, have attracted thousands of students from more than 25 countries. But they are short in nature. To speak like a native, a longer program is needed. Rainbow Bridge Program offers extended periods of time and is exactly the type of program for language maximization.” said Anna Yu, Marketing Director at SLG. “Not only will the students be able to enjoy complete cultural immersion, but they will find themselves building firm foundations in the Chinese language without having to spend a fortune.”
In comparison to the average tuition of an international school in China, the Rainbow Bridge Program expenses can allow up to 80% savings at $7,200 only for one academic year. A regular international program for non-Chinese students could normally cost from $25,000 - $35,000 per year, so SLG aims to provide quality exchange programs and help high school students around the world to learn Chinese language and culture at a more accessible price. The application deadline for an academic year or the fall semester is 4/15 of every year, or 8/15 for the spring semester.
