Author Siobhean Flynn makes her literary debut with her new children’s book, “ Patty O'Burger Paris Adventure!” (published by AuthorHouse), which follows Patty O’Burger in her pursuit of happiness while promoting diversity and acceptance. Patty yearns to follow her dreams, but will her family let her?
Patty lives with her parents and two siblings in New York, where her parents own a diner. While all her family members have found their places in society, Patty can’t help but feel she is meant for bigger things. Unfortunately for Patty, the only place she wants to be is Paris, which is a long way to travel for a cheeseburger.
Readers watch as Patty makes her way to Paris, where she meets Franck, a french fry who helps her settle down in the city. With Franck’s help, Patty discovers that fulfilling one’s dreams isn’t always as hard as it seems, and that being open to diversity provides more excitement than she could have imagined.
Flynn hopes her own experiences in Paris will lend the book more authenticity, bringing it to life for parents and children alike. She believes today’s world is a global one, making her message of diversity and acceptance of the utmost importance.
