Ultherapy is the latest generation in skin tightening. I am very happy for the opportunity to introduce my patients to this exciting, emerging technology.
Del Mar, CA (PRWEB) January 10, 2012
Deborah H. Atkin, MD a dermatologist in San Diego, will be hosting an event at her Del Mar practice to reveal the new Ultherapy® and to provide a live demonstration of the procedure. The event will take place from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on January 26. Dr. Atkin says she is excited about the opportunity to educate patients about the benefits of Ultherapy® for the treatment of facial and neck lines and wrinkles. For her San Diego Ultherapy® patients, Dr. Atkin says the event will offer a unique experience to witness the entire procedure at the hands of a qualified practitioner so they know what to expect from such a treatment. She also says that she and her staff will be prepared to answer any questions patients might have about the Ultherapy® procedure or any other skin care concerns.
Utilizing cutting edge ultrasound technology to promote the creation of new collagen, the Ulthera® system heats tissue deep underneath the surface to lift and tighten loose skin without the need for surgery. Dr. Atkin says the new procedure offers patients another effective alternative to surgery for the improvement of moderate to severe skin laxity. In a procedure that takes less than an hour, Dr. Atkin says patients can enjoy some initial effects of Ultherapy® immediately, with continued improvement over two to three months. She adds that the treatment provides patients the chance to jumpstart a repair process that strengthens existing collagen and produces fresh, new collagen. “Ultherapy® provides a sought after solution for patient seeking lifting and tightening. In the past, these results were only available with surgical procedures.”
Dr. Atkin says she hopes the upcoming event at her practice will educate patients about the benefits of non-invasive skin tightening procedures like Ulthera®. With the development of other non-surgical techniques for toning and body sculpting such as CoolSculpting Zeltiq®, she adds that patients are able to achieve dramatic results without incisions or downtime. Dr. Atkin says she is excited about the event as another opportunity to display her commitment to her patients and their satisfaction. “Ultherapy is the latest generation in skin tightening. I am very happy for the opportunity to introduce my patients to this exciting, emerging technology.”
