Over the last few years we have seen significant growth in our client base as more and more people are searching for someone they can trust to provide expert financial advise in a turbulent time.

Richard P. Slaughter Associates, a leading independent Austin-based wealth management firm and financial planning firm, is supporting its growth over the last few years with a move into larger office space in Austin and expansion into the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The DFW office is the first expansion outside Austin in Slaughter Associates' 19-year history. The office is located in Richardson.

"Over the last few years we have seen significant growth in our client base as more and more people are searching for someone they can trust to provide expert financial advise in a turbulent time," said Brooks Slaughter, Slaughter Associates President and CEO. "Not only are people looking for expertise and performance, they are also looking for independence and transparency, all things we pride ourselves."

The new Austin office is located in the Tower on the Hills at 13809 Research Boulevard. The additional space offers multiple conference rooms for client meetings, covered parking for client visits and additional space for future growth. Slaughter Associates, which launched 401(k) Services earlier this year, sees expansion in staff of financial advisors and financial planners over the next several years as part of their long-term strategic plan to continuously improve and increase services to existing clients as well as support ongoing growth.

"Not only have we seen growth in our Central Texas client base, we have also seen a growing trend in the number of our clients residing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, both from new client relationships and existing clients that have since relocated to the area and have chosen to maintain their advisory and asset management relationships with us," said Slaughter. "After careful evaluation, we saw this as an opportunity to better serve our existing client base living in the area as well as expand our non-biased expertise to new clients in the Metroplex."

Virginia Malavé Pañeda, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERâ„¢ practitioner and licensed investment advisor, has been selected to lead the DFW office, expanding her current role with Slaughter Associates of Financial Advisor and Financial Planner. Slaughter Associates will continue its team approach of client support with clients receiving the breadth of knowledge and service from the entire team.
