Last year, American Sleep Medicine LLC (ASM) woke up to this reality: they needed to make major and significant changes to their website to help maintain and increase revenue plus provide a superior level of service to patients. After months of work, their new website - http://www.AmericanSleepMedicine.com - launched on June 24, 2012.
Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, American Sleep Medicine LLC provides the latest in sleep diagnostic testing and sleep related medicine. The company has operations in 14 states and 19 cities. American Sleep Medicine contracted Colorado-based Timeforcake Creative Media to provide website and related technology services. To create the new website, the team at Timeforcake worked closely with Tom Martin, the president and CEO of American Sleep Medicine and with Tracey Rodgers who is the General Manager of the sister company, American Sleep Products. One goal was to reduce paperwork to lower costs and improve service.
“The site now provides comprehensive information to our existing or potential patients,” said Tracey Rodgers. “This includes all the patient paperwork required, and information on what to expect when coming in for a sleep study.”
American Sleep Medicine provided additional goals to the creative and technical team at Timeforcake. These included:
- Increase sales through more phone calls, emails, and direct website contacts.
- Improve the image of the company through a new design.
- Make it easier for potential patients to contact specific American Sleep Medicine associates directly.
- Provide key information to patients before they arrived at a facility—thus reducing the time spent by American Sleep Medicine associates educating patients.
- Reduce physical paperwork.
- Allay patient fears by providing information, conveying comfort, disclosing procedure details, and generating trust in the company through the website experience.
- Drive additional revenue by encouraging potential patients to take the online sleep assessment and take it to their doctors—who would then refer the patients to ASM.
During the development phase, American Sleep Medicine and Timeforcake agreed it was vital for the site to achieve these key goals before the site could launch. Both teams are extremely happy with the results.
