Recruiting Agencies and Employers have posted more than 3,800 new Computer Programmer jobs that include the terms iPhone, Android or Blackberry over the past 30 days.

Staffing agencies and direct employers posted over 3,800 new online job ads for Computer Specialists that include the terms iPhone, Android, or Blackberry over the past 30 days, according to WANTED Analytics™, the leading source of real-time business intelligence for the talent marketplace (http://www.wantedanalytics.com). This brings the number of currently available job openings to almost 8,500.

The top two occupations are Computer Software Engineers (Applications) and Web Developers. If the war of smart phones were measured by the number of new online job postings, Android would have the slight edge. There were approximately 1,985 new Computer Specialist job advertisements posted containing the term Android, almost 1,960 contained “iPhone”, and Blackberry wasn’t too far behind with just over 1,750 new job ads in the past 30 days.

The metropolitan areas of San Jose, New York, and San Francisco have the top hiring demand for Computer Programmers with iPhone, Android or Blackberry experience. Recruiters in the San Jose area, where there is the highest demand for this type of talent, will have the most challenging time recruiting to fill these positions, as measured by the Hiring Scale™. The Hiring Scale measures conditions in the job markets by comparing hiring demand and labor supply.
