SmartCare Worldwide Unveils “SmartChoice” Medical Travel Giveback Benefit for Employer Healthcare Programs

SmartCare Worldwide, a Houston-based medical tourism facilitator, has officially launched their “SmartChoice” medical travel benefit, creating a paradigm shift in the way U.S. employers develop and implement employee benefit programs into U.S. healthcare plans. A key characteristic of the SmartChoice benefit is that it doesn’t carry the pressure of restrictions and processing requirements that trouble U.S. employers each year.

During a time of healthcare reform and uncertainty, the globalization of the healthcare industry and increasing popularity of medical tourism, SmartCare’s medical travel benefit is being referred to as a concrete solution to rising costs and limited access to healthcare in the U.S.

SmartCare’s innovative medical travel benefit provides new opportunities for employers and employees alike. Until now, conventional setup and implementation of employee benefit programs would entail a struggle on behalf of most employers to meet deadlines and finalize a healthcare plan in the fall of each year, to be active by the first of January.
