Before joining Active Response Group, Smith served as senior vice president of Q Interactive, where she helped dramatically increase the size of the Q Network through business development and media buying partnerships.
Smith led the company's advertising network team, which managed strategic relationships with leading Internet publishers and retailers, as well as its media division which is responsible for Q Interactive's branded Web properties. Prior to joining Q Interactive, Smith spent six years at Zacks Investment Research where as vice president of advertising, she led the establishment of an advertising network that focused exclusively on financial sites.
In her pre-Internet life, Smith spent six years helping further the mission of Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (AIESEC), a global non-governmental organization that promotes leadership and community involvement through its international work exchange program. Her service culminated in her election as President of the Irish division of AIESEC.
