As the text message marketing industry changes, we have to be ready to provide the best platform we can to satisfy the needs of our customers. We have high hopes that this new control panel redesign will provide just that.

After 2 years in business and serving as an industry leader in text message marketing applications, TXT180 announces that a newly redesigned control panel has been released to further increase the usability and simplicity for their end-users. The previous control panel was known for its simplicity, and it is the hopes of TXT180.com that the new control panel will further the trend of simplicity that the company so firmly believes in.

An icon-based layout, the previous control panel grouped the different tasks of bulk SMS marketing, making similar tasks accessible from clicking on the icon. The control panel features opened in new windows, which is a user-interface element TXT180 wished to eliminate. Also characteristic to the previous control panel is the statistical side-bar, which gave customers an overall view of their group text messaging campaign, including (but not limited to) the total number of subscribers to the campaign and a numerical break-down of the messages sent for the texting campaign.

New to the redesigned control panel is the elimination of the “pop-up” window interface for a friendlier, single-page interface. A slick left-hand navigation is now present with collapsible sub-menus, making navigation of the different features a breeze. The navigation is divided up into general tasks such as Send Message, Contacts Search, and Groups. When clicking on any of the general tabs, if applicable, a sub-menu containing more specific tasks is expanded, allowing for every feature to be accessed from the navigation menu rather than through a pop-up window. Noticeably, the statistical side-bar has now been moved to the home page, providing a look at the campaign right when a customer logs-in to the control panel while not imposing itself on other pages.

Aside from the skeletal and structural changes to the control panel, TXT180 customers will also notice a more modern look with beautifully designed pages that are more aesthetically pleasing. In keeping consistent with the theme of their brand, the new control panel hosts a variety of new colors and curves that give it the modern look web applications are looking for.

Currently, the new redesigned control panel has only been launched to the TXT180 retail customers. According to TXT180, plans are in place to translate the new redesigned control panel over to the SMS reseller platform as well. TXT180 support manager Kasey C. says, “We are very excited to release somewhat of a ‘version 2.0’ of the TXT180 platform. As the text message marketing industry changes, we have to be ready to provide the best platform we can to satisfy the needs of our customers. We have high hopes that this new control panel redesign will provide just that. Our SMS resellers can expect the new intuitive control panel coming their way soon.”

TXT180 is currently celebrating their 2 year anniversary of business and is still offering a 2 year anniversary sale on text marketing services through the month of August. New customers can use the coupon code: 2years and receive their first month of the value package for only $1.00. All other plans are discounted by $13.95, offering a great value for those customers looking at purchasing higher volume message plans.

The TXT180 support team is available to answer any questions about the new control panel and can be reached by phone, email, or by accessing the TXT180 blog for more information.
