Snipi is designed to help people browse, organize, share and discover Internet content with the simplest and smartest tools. Snipi's tools enable users to literally drag and drop content directly from any web page which will automatically save it to their personal profile. All of the content captured by the user can also be carried with them as they navigate anywhere on the web. Users can share and collaborate through "Snipstreams" or broadcast their finds to Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress, and other online destinations without ever leaving the web pages where they found the content. When users are "offline", they have access to their lists and content items on their iPhone using the free Snipi iPhone app.
With the official launch of Snipstreams, Snipi now allows users to collaborate on their online finds. These "streams" allow users to follow each other's collections, and also let groups join in and collaborate on streams - building the most relevant collection of content for any interest. Streams can be viewed on Snipi.com, embedded on any webpage or blog, subscribed to through RSS, or viewed through Snipi's iPhone app.
