For the first time ever, SNOBAR™ will be opening its doors and introducing SNO™, a brand new, tasty and refreshing ice delicacy on Saturday October 1st, 2011 between 1-6 PM.

One way to describe SNO™ is 'a feathery, cotton candy-like texture that dissolves in your mouth on contact.'

Compared to normal “shaved ice” in which a frozen brick of water is shaven down and syrup is poured on top, “SNO™” as SNOBAR™ has coined the term, offers a uniquely novel texture and taste. SNOBAR™ uses purified water infused with flavoring before it is flash-frozen to capture a full taste in every spoonful. No matter what part you scoop from the bowl, the taste is always consistent. One way to describe SNO™ is “A feathery, cotton candy-like texture that dissolves in your mouth on contact.”

Current available flavors will be Mango, Strawberry, Original SNO™, Peanut Butter and Banana, Chocolate, Green Tea, Taro, and Rose (Flower).

With over 30 delicious toppings available ranging from almonds and animal crackers, to fresh strawberries and frozen cheesecake bits, one is sure to satisfy his or her creative palette.

Prices start at $6 for the 20 oz. bowl with one topping and $8 for the 24 oz. bowl with two toppings. Each additional topping is $.50 extra.

SNOBAR™ will provide live deejays on various nights as well as a rotating art exhibit from local and up-and-coming artists. Numerous fundraisers are planned for the upcoming weeks and months ahead as well as a full service catering division. Store hours will be Sunday – Thursday noon to midnight and Friday and Saturday noon to 2 am.
