We picked up a podium at Elsinore earlier in the year, so we know we have what it takes to put the truck on the box there. Our Pro 4 is fast and reliable and we’re going to be focusing on finishing the season strong.
Compton, California (PRWEB) October 22, 2015
Sixteen Rounds of racing across four states over the course of eight months on the most grueling off-road tracks in the country will come to its climactic conclusion this weekend with a short course off-road doubleheader - the 4 Wheel Parts Off Road Nationals and the Lucas Oil Challenge Cup at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park.
Greg Adler and Team 4 Wheel Parts are coming home Saturday and Sunday, October 24-25 when the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series returns to their home track in Southern California. Lake Elsinore plays host to the final round of the season points championship in addition to the no holds barred mash-up that brings together the two and four-wheel drive 900 HP Pro 2 and Pro 4 divisions on the track for a winner take all shootout for Unlimited Off-Road Racing supremacy known as the Challenge Cup.
For Adler, Round 17 represents his final opportunity to solidify his position in the season’s standings while he and Team 4 Wheel Parts prepare his battle tested Pro 4 for Sunday afternoon’s donnybrook. “This team has certainly been tested this year,” said Adler. “We picked up a podium at Elsinore earlier in the year, so we know we have what it takes to put the truck on the box there. Our Pro 4 is fast and reliable and we’re going to be focusing on finishing the season strong.”
The Challenge Cup format is simple – take the fastest Pro 2 and Pro 4 off-road trucks on the planet, give the Pro 2 drivers a head start on the mile-long track, drop the green flag and throw away the rulebook. For Adler, the metal mashing chaos of more than 30 trucks battling for the lead while he works his way through the Pro 2 field represents his most unique race of the season. “There’s a lot going on during these Cup races,” he said. “Everyone knows that this is it and once this race is done, the season’s over. You try to put together a game plan ahead of time, but when the race starts, you just have to go. We’re going to do everything we can to stay out of trouble and be in contention at the end when it matters most.”
The short course off-road track at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park is located at 20700 Cereal St. in Lake Elsinore, California. The weekend doubleheader commences with Greg Adler and the Pro 4 Class taking the green flag for the 4 Wheel Parts Off-Road Nationals at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday with the all-out assault of Challenge Cup action guaranteed to keep fans on their feet throughout Sunday afternoon. With gates open to the public both days at 11 a.m. and the entire paddock area open to spectators throughout the day, Adler and Team 4 Wheel Parts look forward to this last opportunity of 2015 to sign autographs and visit with fans.

Nothing compares to the excitement of short course off-road racing action in person, but if you can’t be there to see it live, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is broadcast on CBS, the CBS Sports Network and MAVTV.
