Furthering its strategy to deliver top-quality snow skiing and mountaineering equipment to the professional and backcountry traveler alike, Matt Brooks, President of Brooks-Range Mountaineering Equipment Co., announced today that Brooks-Range has released Ski Strap for use in the backcountry for ski mountaineering and winter backcountry travel, the Heli Guide Ski Strap
The Heli Guide Ski Strap is a 20" super easy to use embroidered nylon webbing ski strap. Made of embroidered nylon webbing with hook and loop and a metal D-ring, 58 cm's in total length. It is designed specifically for use with today's very wide backcountry and telemark skis.
The snow skiing straps have thousands of uses and are handy to have on a pack, in a kit, vehicle, on boards, etc. Add some padding and use them as a bomber ski strap and protect bases. Duct tape and zip ties may come in handy, but wait till you're SOL in the backcountry - straps can save the day. These Heli Guide Ski Straps will simply not fail. They are great for fixing a pesky skin, cinching ski equipment onto a pack and, of course, for holding skis together.
The Brooks-Range Ski Mountaineering Co. will offer the snow skiing straps singly and as a TwinPac. They are expected to retail for around $7.50 singly or $13.50 per TwinPac set.
