SoCal Pain Center at The Brain and Spine Institute of California® is launching a multi-disciplinary approach to their medical practice to help improve their patients’ recovery time and treatment outcomes.
With their practice of multi-disciplinary pain management treatments, Dr. “Ty” Thaiyananthan, founder of BASIC, and the BASIC team work to improve their already medically advanced practices to help ensure that patients receive effective treatment, experience quick recovery times, and have successful outcomes.
BASIC’s multi-disciplinary approach of composing a team of neurosurgeons, chiropractors and pain management physicians that are on the forefront of spinal technologies helps to create a comprehensive experience for patients suffering from all kinds of back and neck pain. All of the BASIC physicians aim to treat their patients in minimally invasive ways with a goal of returning them to normal mobility and back to work as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Involved in BASIC’s multi-disciplinary approach to spinal treatment are new cutting edge technologies that help improve patient care, the flow of patients in and out of the clinic, and other best medical practices.
Technologies like the C-Arm used in the BASIC clinic in Orange, and outpatient stem cell injections done on site rather than at a hospital, contribute to BASIC’s success in improving the ways patients are treated for spinal pain. Beyond that, BASIC clinics have been designed by Dr. Ty and his team to be strategically placed around Southern California to best serve their patients.
“At BASIC we believe that having a team of physicians trained in multiple disciplines is more beneficial for a wider range of patients than specializing in only one area of spinal pain,” said Dr. Ty. “We want to get people back on their feet as quickly as possible, and with a team that is able to help patients with so many different aspects of spinal treatment, that goal becomes much more attainable.”
BASIC has provided multiple locations to help serve patients in each community and to ensure that patients can schedule an appointment easily with one of our physicians at whichever location is most convenient and accessible for them.
BASIC has clinic locations in Orange, Whittier and Chino Hills, the newest location that opened in August, 2012. BASIC will be opening a clinic in Irvine in early 2013 that will serve as an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). This multi-disciplinary clinic will provide patients with a more convenient treatment experience, where appointments and out-patient procedures can be performed here, offering patients a thorough experience from consultation through recovery.
